Wounded 69

Was driving home this evening from the I-45/FM1960 area of Houston and saw this 69 stranded on the side of the road (by Intercontinental Airport). Stopped to see if I could help. The owner was a young kid going to vocational techinical school and working at Brake Check. He is from the Dallas area. Anyways, he had no brakes. He has been meaning to replace the master cylinder (had it in the car), but has not had time to do the swap. He has been using the E brake :eek: . Well, two of the nuts that hold the E brake cables to the handle fell off, leaving him with no brakes. He was in the process of finding the nuts and fixing the problem. Said he was going to do the installation of the m/c tonight. It looked like everything he owned was in this car (could not find the floor). Not sure how he could find the nuts or the m/c in the pile of stuff he had in the car.
