any of you HAC guys in/around the Spring area? my little brother is in dire need of a hand to do some maint on his car as well as borrow some tools to do it. he is a struggling UTI student and can do all the work his self, only he's in an apartment and has no where to do it. if anyone would be willing to lend a hand, a fellow aircooler would forever be greatful. also, i'll be joining you guys in about 2 years when i move down there to attend UTI myself! ;)

my driveway is always open... if you let me know what needs to be done we can set it up... Spring isnt that far from here...

I'm in Tomball (not far), I have all the tools he needs, but I'm about to be in an apartment myself. PM me if he still needs help.

thanks guys. looks like he got it temp fixed for now (stuck thermosthat). i'll check up with him and see how much further he wants to take it before attempting to get rid of it. stupid toyota! i told him to get something older that he can work on easily; like a VW. he wants mine, and i don't mind sellig it to him, but he needs something a little more reliable to get to school and work for now. thanks again. i'll be meeting some of you HAC guys hopefully at the "buggys, bikes, trucks" show in june if you are attending.

...more reliable?? ha ha anyway I was just gonna say I am in Humble if he needs a driveway and tools I am usually here at home doin some remodeling lately just let me know

i tried telling him to just get a bug cause they're easy to work on (IMO), but i think he's a little hesitant. he's looked at bugs before, and i continually talk about them with him, so maybe i'll succeed yet at bringing another poor soul into the VW world we all love so much! ;) i think that if he does take one of you up on the driveway space to fix his car, he'll see more of what it's all about via the community and support and how even if you don't actually know someone, they're willing to lend a hand. thanks again guys, he was pretty excited that you were willing to help out.
