heya rick. Justin here, I have been goin through some hard times lately and I had to park the bus at my bud's house up ontop of nollanville HIll. I honestly dont know if it is still there at his house or not but I am wanting to get another bug. If you want the bus, I have lost the title but I will be happy to hand you the keys for free. with that in mind, I never transfered it over into my name so teh title is still in yours, it shouldnt be too hard to get it since its still in your name.
let me know bro!!
btw, do you still have my bug? i miss it :(

I was offering to give it to you for the bus not sell it to you haha...all it needs is a new platic connector for the hard drive (95 cents or so) and re-install windows...product key is on the laptop so you can just borrow a copy from a friend...don't need a new car haha but I do need a bus

hmmm, teh battery pan is gone, and a bit of rust spots here and there. The table bed, and couch are ok but the driver and passenger seats may need some recussioning. The CD player was stolen out of it on new years night about 2 years ago, along with about $3000 worth of my riding gear that i had stored up in it.
really i think it just needs the normal fixin's and repaint on the body.
I have to rooms available in december. 1 Roomate will be 250 a month plus half utilities...167 a month if there are 2 roomates. The house has two bathrooms and a garage I will share.
I need to find out if the case on the motor has ever been machined. Anyone have a compression tester? I would like to get a general idea of what it will need. I know the carb needs a rebuild. I can't remember but was the motor a 2.0? If anyone could help me out I would greatly appreciate it. The reson I want to know all this is so I can start buying the parts. Once I get the motor finished I will them move on to the cosmetics. Man I can't wait for December!

If i remember correctly the motor was a 1600cc, the engine as far as i know has never been touched. and yes, the carbs need to be rebuilt.
I know its not a 1600...if it is the orig engine it would be the 2000cc.If the case has ever been machined then the specs should be etched on the top of the case. It always seemed to run pretty good but it sure did burn way more gas than it should have. It burned a little oil too..not much. It won't be my only mode of transportation though
