Lupe (with the 1957 convertible) invited me out to the Thursday Austin Classic Car Cruise Night next to Denny's and Bennigan's off 183 and Lakeline Mall Drive. Around 40 cars showed up and 5 trophies were awarded. I was surprised to receive a trophy with so many nice cars out.

I drove my oval to work today so that I can drive straight from work to the last of the April Classic Car Cruise Nights. Anyone else going? Lupe? Tom? Gary?

Bill, I'm sorry, but, I won't be able to make it tonight. One of my front wheel cylinders started to leak badly this weekend. I'm supposed to be getting a rebuild kit today so I can fix it tonight. I should be ready for next Thursdays aircoolers meeting tho. see ya there!

Ok, I'm looking forward to seeing your car on the road again. No more than you I'm sure. :)

Yes, 5-8:30pm. Out of the few meets around town I've gone to I thought the overall vibe was the better at this one. Everyone that showed up was really friendly last week.

The last of the April Classic Car Cruise Nights was fun last night. Gary met me in his Deluxe Bus. There weren't as many cars out last night as the previous week but it was fun nevertheless. I uploaded some pictures of the cars that showed up if you'd like to check them out.
Double K Productions that has been hosting these Cruise Nights is going to start hosting there at the Denny's/Bennigan's parking lot on Saturday nights starting May 5th.

Sorry I missed it, since the location is right down the highway from me. But my band rehearsed Thursday night. Do I derive from your message that they are going to have the same show in the same place on Saturday nights now?

The Bennigan's/Denny's car show is now Saturday night. There were two of us dubs there last night. At Hwy.183 and Lakeline Blvd., the next light past Hwy. 620.
