I need to have my door locks rekeyed but wanted to find a shop that will do it reasonable. Any suggestions?

When we were at the Nacogdoches show there was a vendor there, I believe his business name was Steve's Keys. I tried to find something on him - I seem to remember someone referring to him on a vw website, maybe Dallas Aircoolers site. I checked the Samba but didn't come up with anything. You might check around some of the other forums.
A couple of years ago I had some custom VW keys cut by Gabriel Garcia (http://www.gabrielsvwgarage.com/) in Allen, TX.
He also has a classified ad on The Samba - Gabriel's VW Keys & Locks (http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/detail.php?id=86513). I think he does lock re-keying.
"Reasonable" is pretty much a relative term... ;)

Steve will probably be at the TX classic. He has made keys (og style) for me.
but if you just need to match a new handle too the rest of the car, it is not tough. take one that works and the new one out. tear them apart carefully,
lableing all the stuff and positions. then make the new one match, it may take a few tumblers to find a match, but it it easy.
