How narrow do you want? Not local, but CB Performance has the best prices on 2" beams and they have all the leaves, tie rods, etc. I used to run their beam, it was nice. If you want 4" or more, go with Franklin's, it is a work of art, but it will cost you...
Now that I think about it, Jeff at JBS narrows beams, he was doing one for a customer recently when I was out there. Give him a call 713-665-4582

I can probably help you out some time, but my time is tight right now. Maybe after the classic some time. Really think out how much you want to lower it though, 2 splines already puts a lot of wear and tear on the axles and fulcrum plates and the outer bearings will not be getting properly oiled, 3 splines will be really bad and things will wear out really quickly. Depends on how much you plan on driving your car.... :)
EDIT: Oh, your car is an IRS, right? Forget all that stuff about wear and tear then... ;)

3 splines will drag the ground.....lol
3 is *really* low, but some people do it. There are a few cars on hoodride that are set at 3. Not very practicle though...

well i was gonna try and fab a new plate design i thought of at work....we will see how that goes. it will be an adapter plate for the existing spring plate. im going to make another plate that goes straight up from the existing axle holes 4". we will see if it mess' with the caster or not. if anything i will be stuck with taking it back off and waiting until i can go 2 splines on the rear. hope for the best. seems like it will work though.

sarcasm?
i hope it works, i dont see why it wouldnt, im just worried about caster. i see people making there own spring plates that are curved to clear the bump stop and to avoid notching them. but that lowers them a few inches but still leaves them in the stock splined location. i dont see why it wont work. 2, 1/4" steel plates one on each side of the spring plate and axle. so they act as a sandwich and add strength. god i hope this works, my front end is so low i NEED the rear down more, thats why i say 4", caster shims cant save me i dont think! plus the rake is rediculous looking

no attitude here, sorry if it came off that way dude. my design didnt work out, bad luck for me i guess. i will just take the rear arm off and try my best to lower it 2 splines. if i cant get the spring plate off the torsion bar without pulling the torsion bar out with it, how many inner splines should i go to make up for the slammed front end?

The inside has 40 teeth, the outside 44, so we're talking about 0.8 degrees difference between one inside (9 deg) and one outside (8.18 deg). For two splines of each it works out to 16.36 deg for outside vs 18 deg for the inside. So basically 2 splines is two splines, with 2 inside lowering it slightly more than 2 outside. If you go two you should really consider notching your spring plates, they will be very close to the upper travel limit and you won't have much suspension left...

i believe it to be 3 splines, its sitting on the bump stops a little bit, well its close as hell, i need to notch the spring plates now. and why the sarcasm? its low but not slammed, probably due to the bump stops

"why the sacasm?"
Well, you did the right thing by asking for help on the forum. There is a hell of a lot of knowledge in here from a lots of people with grease under their nails. You said you were going to lower the rear of your car 2-3 splines. Two people voiced their opinion about 3 splines being pretty extreme.
It's your car, we greatly incourage you build it the way you like.... Yet we don't want anyone to make the mistakes that we have already made. I've had a few friends drop 2 splines in the rear, and bitch about how they have to watch where they drive because they keep scraping everytime they go into or exit a driveway. Therfore my opinion is that 3 splines would be too low to drive on a regular basis. That being said, I hope it works out, because bugs look great SLAMMED.
p.s. Beware of access plates in gas stations.
