gear pops out on 1rst gear!

i need help figuring out why my gear pops out on first gear?? i'm not too much of a buggy goroo but ive been told to change the shifter, that coupling under the rear seat by the tranny but still cant seem to get it right. can someone out there help? i'm new so take it easy on me!!:)

if the shifter is not ajusted right that will make it pop out of. gears it's done it to me a time or two in the past
