Hi Everyone, Have just relocated from Seattle, Wa. to New Braunfels. Got tired of the rain and the foggy windows. Own a 66 Ghia that has a 45,000 miles on it since a quick resto in 2002.

Welcome to Texas! We have fairly active VW groups in Austin and San Antonio, so, you'll have plenty to keep you busy.
Look forward to meeting you soon :)

Ghia is a late production 66 with a 1500. Ghia was pretty much intact when I found it. Spit the case and did a quick freshen up of the engine. Tossed on some new wheels and a paint job and made it my daily driver for three years.
Put a new front end under it last winter (stayed stock).

Thanks to all who have welcomed me to the area. I guess I missed a great show at Boerne. Just need to get my ghia licensed in Texas and hope to see more aircooled vw's on the roads.
