View Full Version : What's the dilio with VW Spark Plugs?????

Has anyone tried to buy a set of plugs lately from AutoZone, Parts America, Oreilys or any of the other local parts house? I have tried all of them in 3 cities...towns and none have them (in any manufacturer) and they said that the Bosch and Bosh Supers are obsolete..... I went on http://www.sparkplugs.com/default.asp and they are obsolete with no replacement part... Do they not know how many of us are out there and need these plugs. I found a few boxes at a liquidator on line that said he bought a whole bunch (several thousand) of plugs that are being phased out.

You can get NGK plugs O'Reillys.

Allot of people stick with bosch -- I love NGK and that is all I use.

I think the numbers for different brands are:

NGK- B5HS
Champion- L288
Bosch-W8AC

Any others??

I have some new unused plugs. I'll bring 'em saturday.(in my Nissan) :sad:
