Here is one picture from the Fredricksburg car show a few years back, one from Roswell probably from about the same time .. and older one that I just like. In the interior picture you can see on the dash a custom 4 gauge pod I made myself. I think my car hasnt been that clean since

I am a little concerned though .. Although I love the air cooled beetle and I have owned several though out the years and if I ever get out of my damn apartment will own another one ... I don't see a lot of water cooled VW here ..

I remember seeing your beetle in Fredericksburg, nice ride.
I have a water cooled VW (hail damaged but daily driver) and some times drive it out to the meetings. I also have a 71 beetle which I still have not finished building and I don't let it stop me from participating in AC events. Even though I have NEVER driven my own air cooled VW to an AC event I don’t feel that it is an excuse to not join in the fun. Welcome back and look forward to seeing you at an event, Novemberfest this Sunday at Austin Veedub or the AAC monthly meeting November 6 (my B-day too:laughing:)

It might take a few to get around to the Brooke Shields bus but the Brooke Berry bus was very fine....

I would like to let everyone know that I will not be able to make the Nov Meeting. Currently my Beetle is at MotorManic under going several repairs. Timing Belt, Water Temp Sensor, Sec Air Inject Valve, Oil Change, Oil Dip Stick & Dip Stick Tube Replacement, and probably a host of other things I can remember.

just doing my part to make sure Roger's kids can go to a good College. So if you find your self out at MotorMania in the next few days make sure to bring flower to my car on Life support. :) :) :)
