Signed up the other day, but hadn't had a chance to post. Tried to come in today and my Id would not work. Set it up again, came here and found the announcement on the hack... Thought maybe I did something wrong already... But apparently not!
So basically I was raised on VWs many many years ago. Just got back into them a couple of years ago as my kids found my old pictures and wanted one. So now there is a '64 in the garage undergoing much needed work. It runs well enough to get in and out of the garage, but is not streetable right now. No rush as I plan my conversion from it's prior cal-look to something no one seems to do anymore - I ain't saying anything more on that... At least not until I get it to where showing pictures of it will make sense.
