new to air cool vws

hello my name is mike i am from thibodaux la. my 13yo son seth is disabled and wants tro restore vw's for a living so i went out and bought one . so we are looking for vw clubs and find places to meet others who own vw's. we are starting with the bus and maybe a bus later on . i am disable myslef so i am limited on how much i can do on the bug . a friend who lives next door is helping on the car . we hope to get it on the road soon . it does run but we had to change out the dowl pins on the fly wheel and now we have a bad oil leak so we will pull the motor again and change out the rear seal . well that about it for now if anyone eles is in this area please send me a note thanks mike
