Ok, I was changing my clutch cable, but didn't pay attention to how the sping came off the brake pedal  . It's a 74 super. I got the clutch cable in, started putting the pedal assembly back in, saw the spring, and dad gummit I forgot how that spring was on it  . If anyone has a pic, or knows of a website with pics it would help out alot. Thanks.

On the stock pedal assembly, there's a loop in the spring.
That loop locks over the end of the rod that the plunger rod for the master cylinder connects to. Or it wraps around the brake pedal itself, depending on the model.
The other end of the spring is a flat, straight spot. That goes towards the front of the car, flat against the floor. It can be tricky to manuever it into place, but it can be done.
good luck.
