Reading matter.

Several interesting things happened to me this weekend.
1: I blew up my first motor since I entered the hobby in 1995, and it didn't bother me.
2: I've done more work on the 58 in the last week than I have on the Baja in the last year.
3: I was offered a 63 single cab for free and turned it down (It was only right).
4: Decided it was all worth putting down in this thread.
5: I LOVE my meds.
6: I'm tired.

My weekend was the same.
1: I was in your car when the motor blew.
2: One of my stores caught fire and I got to waste a Saturday in a salvage operation.
3: I didn't show up at your house due to being too tired. (See #2)
4: Shop night is rescheduled for when now Matt???

No, the SC is not a pile. What's really screwed up is the life of the man who offered it. He could have taken advantage of the owner's horrible circumstances. Matt is too good a friend and too much a man to do anything but offer to store it, which he has.

EJ's right. Another BRACer is having a rough go at it and Matt didn't take advantage of him. BUT,l I am definitley with Summerdaze. I am always happy when Matt's meds are working.:crazy: Nothing but love, buddy, nothing but love. LOL:happy:

Yep for like 4 days but have to be back in time for Gunfighters thing.

ya'll must have got everything squared away with the store that caught on fire to be able to get away on vacation.

Got another motor in and ran it so hot that the dip stick burned an impression in my finger.
Let it sit 2 days and checked the timing. It was set at 30*at idle. :frustrating:
Reset it to 28* full advance and just took it for a drive. I think I have it sorted out.
