Nice haul. What are your plans? IMO, grey cars look great with red interior. :)

That's your Volksrod project? Yowza, man...what balls you have!!!

On the other hand, you'll probably make enough selling parts to finance a Raby Type-4 for it!

I was kidding about the volksrod thing. I can't cut up a good 58. This one will be a daily driver until the rat baja is finished and then it will get a cleanup/resto/mild custom deal and become my keeper car.

Mark you are the purist of the pure, riding high and slow while almost everyone else in the SA crew are slamed low and fast.

Blew the motor today. Time for the spare.

Nothing better than cruising at a speed of 50mpg and it sound like a bucket of bolts tossing around in the crank case. Up until then it was one smooth ride! We got to hang out in the parking lot of Tractor Supply waiting to be rescued.

Ahhh. Nothing like the life of a Volkswagen enthusiast. I got the cars swapped around an can't wait to see what failed in the 1500.

I am now thinking it's a dropped valve. Regardless, I need to get the new motor in quick.
